Already Exist - Error Message

I am trying to add (Customer, Employee, Driver, etc) and when I go to Save the record  I receive an error stating the item already exists. 

The most likely reason for this error is that the item existed at one time, and has since been Deleted.  In some cases, TOPS requires unique values, and cannot support duplicate entries.  When an item such as a driver, customer, employee, or pricing item is deleted, it is actually moved to an inactive directory. Because it still exists you cannot create an additional record with the same information.

The best and easiest thing to do in this situation is to reactivate the item.
