Driver setup is required for all drivers working calls within the TOPS system. While primarily housing general information about drivers there are a few required fields flagged in red.
When creating a new driver, choose the employee from the dropdown list.
- Assign a numeric or alpha-numeric value as a driver number.
- Though not required if the driver has a default truck, select that here.
- Duty status is selectable by the driver in the mobile app or by your dispatch staff.
- First and second commission rates (Percentage) - set as zero (0) if you do not pay commissions.
There are two user defined fields available on the driver screen (labeled as Group and Team for example)
