TOPS Integration with Auction Simplified


Sending Vehicles from TOPS to Auction Simplified for creating an Auction

Once the integration is enabled, the trigger to sending a vehicle (Call) to Auction Simplified is to add a Planned Auction Date to the Call and save the call. (The Planned Auction Date field is on the inventory tab of the call record).


NOTES:

  1. If the planned Auction Date was added to the call before the TOPS to Auction Simplified integration was established, simply re-save the TOPS call to send it to Auction Simplified
  2. The Call MUST have a unique VIN. For vehicles without a VIN, you will need to create a unique VIN. Consider entering NoVIN plus the call number. This would be unique for your TOPS company. (Example NOVIN45459)
  3. DO NOT manual add Vehicles into Auction Simplified. The Vehicles (Calls) must flow from TOPS to Auction Simplified via the integration for the process to work correctly.


Removing a vehicle from Auction Simplified

To Remove an Auctioned vehicle from the Auction Simplified System (a vehicle sent from TOPS), simply remove the Planned Auction Date and Save the TOPS Call. 


NOTES:

  1. Calls Released from TOPS will be removed from Auction Simplified by the system. No need to manually remove them from Auction Simplified.


Sharing Sold Vehicle Information back to TOPS

Once vehicles are paid and closed out in Auction Simplified, the Sale data will flow back to TOPS.


NOTES:

  1. If your Buyer is an “On Account” customer, The Customer name in TOPS must be an exact Match to the buyer in Auction Simplified. This is required in order to complete the call from TOPS and remove it from Inventory.
